Excellent - or, as one of the YouTube reviewers put it:-

"back in a lost´╗┐ time when TALENT mattered more than image for music fans.... sigh...".

Gonna find a way to fade/blend this into a particularly good version of "Eyes of the World" or maybe tag it on the end of "Caravanserai" ............

Thanks for the pointer - now onto the "25 or 6 to 4".

The early Chicago line-up w/Terry Kath was an awesome ensemble from their humble "beginnings" at Depaul University in the late 60's until they were swept away to L.A. by a rather fat Columbia records contract.

Somewhere @ Chicago V or Chicago VI the amount of peruvian marching powder that was being consumed in typical 70's L.A. snowplow fashion really messed with the band's overall psyche, the music's decline paralleled the tragic accidental suicide of Terry Kath in 1978.

The post Terry Kath Chicago were able to find a formula for spitting out a long string of Top 40 hits that were totally polished for FM radio.
